Fair Trade

We operate in a global economy.  It is no longer acceptable to turn a blind eye towards poor work conditions that people in other countries endure simply because we can't see them.  Our policy is that we only work with suppliers that adhere to the highest Fair Trade operating standards.  Our organic cotton comes from farms in India that are certified Fair Trade and our products are stitched by a company that is SA8000 certified, an extremely rigorous Social Accountability standard.

 

Organic

We believe organic cotton should be dyed without the use of chemicals. Our cotton is certified organic by Control Union (formerly Skal). We believe that there is more that each of us can do to protect the environment and the planet for our own future and the future of our children. Our goal is to be a leader in sustainable textiles, taking extra steps to reduce the number of chemicals and toxins that enter our environment. 

 

1% FTP

As part of our effort to reduce our imact and help reverse some of the damage we have done to the planet, we are a member of 1% For The Planet.  Each year, we commit to donating 1% of our revenues to charities whose goals and objectives are similar to ours.  We will focus on those organizations that work to reduce pollution, clean up groundwater systems and help promote the use of organic farming techniques.  Click on the logo to learn more about 1% FTP.
