Fabric Care

• Machine-wash or hand-wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. (We use Nature Clean All Natural Laundry Powder.)
• Use a gentle cycle / do not scrub. Some slight marbling of colour may occur during the first washing.
• Do not bleach or dry-clean.
• Hang to dry in the shade, or tumble dry on regular heat. Shrinkage is approximately 1" per yard in the length.
• To iron, use a regular cotton setting (high).
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Please note: some substances, such as lemon juice, may discolor fabric. Natural dyes may fade gently with time. Subtle variations in the fabric color may occur due to the nature of vegetable and mineral dyes. Please be advised that indigo (the blue fabrics) may rub off onto other fabrics, but will not stain items that can be laundered.

Quilt Care

• Handle carefully when wet; do not wring.

• To dry quilt: For an antique appearance, with a more textured surface, tumble dry the quilt on low. For a crisp, flat quilted surface, lay the quilt flat to dry. Do not hang to dry unless it is only damp, as it may stretch and warp the quilt.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
